[방구석 생활영어_채팅용어] 영어채팅 줄임말_외국인 친구랑 문자할 때

 

 

외국인 친구들이랑 문자나 채팅으로 이야기하다보면.. 

약어를 정말 많이 쓰더라구요 우리나라만 줄임말 쓰는게 아니었음. 

그런 의미에서 오늘 알아볼건 별다줄인 용어들!

 

1. Nevermind (NVM)

A: What were you talking about in the cafeteria? The place was too noisy that I could not hear you well.

B: Nvm. Its not that important

 

2. To be Honest (TBH)

A: I don't like the math teacher.

B: TBH, his habit of stepping in the middle of the conversation drives me crazy.

 

3. Also Known As (AKA)

A: I am currently heading toward the department store, aka THE HYUNDAI.

 

4. Be right back (BRB)

A: Wait. I think my mom just arrived. play the game first. BRB

 

5. Talk to you later (TTYL)

A: Hey, I am late for the class. I gotta go. Ttyl

 

6. How are you (HRU)

A: Long time no see! HRU?

 

7. Let me Know (LMK)

A: If you have any concerns you can Lmk. 

 

8. No Problem (NP)

A: May I join you later?

B: NP! We will be out there until 9pm. You can come anytime you want

 

9. Later (L8tr)

A: Yes see you L8tr in the afternoon!

 

잘 사용하면 외국 친구들이랑 잘 어울릴 수 있는 수단이 될 수 있긴 하지만..

가볍게 느껴질 수 있으니 비지니스 영어를 사용하시는 분들이라면 가급적 사용안하는게 좋지 않을까 싶네요ㅎㅎ
